As a family we have now been involved in the entertainment industry since 1970 when our first mobile disco was launched and was subsequently followed a few years later by the introduction and development of numerous live function bands, which have been a going concern in various formats ever since. Lighting effects are currently going through an exciting metamorphose with the rapid growth and development of LED technology. LED lighting has extremely low power requirements and produces virtually no heat. This has lifted many of the restrictions that conventional FX lights have such as weight, size, and more importantly, the “duty cycle” or how long they can operate for before requiring a break.
