OSL Sound Recording Studio – East Lothian
Our studio is equipped with both digital & analogue 24 track stand alone machines and complemented by various software based audio & midi programs on either Apple Mac or PC platforms. Everything is routed through our specially designed patch bays and connected to our Allen & Heath GS3000 32 channel analogue mixing console, which can provide a possible 68 channels! during mix down.

The Studio Control Room
The air conditioned control room was professionally designed and built to provide a relaxing environment whether writing, recording or mixing. Clients and visitors always comment on how amazing the acoustics are with tightly controlled surfaces in the room providing the engineer with the ideal sweet spot for a perfect mix. The cleverly planned lighting control is totally flexible and can be raised or lowered to give just the right feel for both client and engineer.

The Live Room at the studio
The live room is acoustically treated providing artists with a comfortable atmosphere in which to perform and can be fed with a constant supply of filtered fresh air both in and out if performers start feeling the heat. This room is both cosy and compact making it perfect for laying down vocals or acoustic guitar but also provides enough space to set up a seven piece drum kit if required.
